Main Ingredients
  • Base: 1 lb 2oz ground lamb onion, carrot, celery, garlic, ginger, jalapeño
  • Spice: Cumin coriander, cinnamon, cayenne
  • Liquid: 2 cups chicken stock 1 tsp flour
  • Serve: 4 naan breads Greek yogurt, fresh mint/cilantro

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Sauté mirepoix (onion, carrot, celery) with garlic, ginger, and chili until soft.
  2. Add ground lamb and brown well. Stir in spices and flour.
  3. Pour in stock. Simmer uncovered for 30-35 mins until liquid evaporates and sauce is thick (‘sloppy’).
  4. Remove from heat and stir in fresh herbs.
  5. Fold warm naan around the meat mix and top with a dollop of yogurt.
