Main Ingredients
  • Loaf: 1 lb ground beef 1 onion (chopped), 2/3 cup panko breadcrumbs, 3 garlic cloves, 1 egg
  • Spice: 1 tsp red pepper flakes 1 tsp chipotle paste, salt, pepper
  • Topping: 4 tbsp Hot Pepper Jelly

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, mix beef, onion, crumbs, garlic, egg, and spices until just combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into a free-form loaf on a lined baking sheet.
  3. Spread the hot pepper jelly generously over the top of the loaf.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 1 hour until sticky and glazed.
  5. Let rest for 10 mins before slicing to ensure it holds together.
