Mild pork sausages cooked alongside shredded red cabbage. The cabbage and sausages exchange flavors for a perfect winter dish.

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/2 pounds red cabbage, shredded
  • 1 pound mild pork sausage
  • Salt & Black pepper

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Sauté garlic in oil. Add cabbage, salt, pepper.
  2. Cook cabbage uncovered, turning often.
  3. In separate pan, pierce and brown sausages deeply.
  4. When cabbage is half-reduced (45 mins), add sausages.
  5. Cook together 20 minutes until cabbage is very soft.
  6. Serve.
