Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 4 to 5 Tbsp butter 55-70 g
  • 6 to 8 whole sage leaves preferably fresh
  • 1 lb pasta 454 g
  • Freshly grated parmigiano-reggiano cheese for the table

Equipment

  • Skillet

Method
 

  1. Melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat and let it cook until the foam settles and the color turns tawny gold, not yet brown.
  2. Add the sage leaves, turn them once, and cook just a few seconds.
  3. Pour the butter and sage over cooked, drained pasta, toss well, and serve immediately with grated Parmesan at the table.
