Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • Churros: 1 cup boiling water 2 tbsp butter, 1.5 cups flour, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 tsp baking powder, oil for frying, 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Sauce: 1/2 cup dark chocolate 3/4 cup heavy cream, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp butter, pinch salt, 1/4 tsp chili powder

Equipment

  • Deep fryer or pot
  • Piping bag with star nozzle
  • Bowl

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Make dough: pour boiling water/butter into flour/sugar/baking powder. Beat to a paste.
  2. Pipe strips of dough into hot oil (375 degrees F). Fry until golden.
  3. Toss hot churros in cinnamon sugar.
  4. Make sauce: melt chocolate, cream, sugar, and butter. Stir in chili powder.
  5. Serve warm churros with the dipping sauce.
