Main Ingredients
  • Patty: 14oz ground beef good quality, 1/2 cup fresh white breadcrumbs, 1 egg yolk, 1/2 red onion (finely chopped)
  • Seasoning: 1/2 tsp dried mustard 1/2 tsp celery salt, 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce, pepper
  • Serve: 4 buns lettuce, tomato, pickles, relish

Equipment

  • Grill or Grill pan
  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Gently mix beef, breadcrumbs, yolk, onion, and seasonings by hand.
  2. Form into 4 thick patties. Chill for 30 mins to help them hold their shape.
  3. Grill over high heat for 6-8 mins, turning once, until charred.
  4. Toast the cut sides of the buns on the grill.
  5. Assemble burgers with your favorite fresh toppings.
