  • Build: 8 slices rye bread 1 lb corned beef (or pastrami), 16 slices Swiss cheese, 8 tbsp sauerkraut (drained)
  • Dressing: 1/4 cup mayonnaise 2 tbsp creamed horseradish, 1 tbsp ketchup, 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Cooking: Butter for frying

  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Mix mayo, horseradish, ketchup, and Worcestershire to make the dressing.
  2. Spread dressing on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Assemble sandwiches: Bread, 2 slices cheese, generous corned beef, sauerkraut, 2 slices cheese, Bread.
  4. Melt butter in a skillet over low-medium heat.
  5. Grill sandwiches 2-3 minutes per side until bread is golden and cheese is gooey.
