Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • Rings: 1 large onion 1 cup flour, 1 tsp chipotle powder, 1/2 tsp cayenne, 1 cup milk, 2 eggs, 2 cups fresh breadcrumbs
  • Aïoli: 1 cup mayonnaise 1 tbsp chipotle powder, 4 garlic cloves, juice of 1 lemon

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Heat oil to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Slice onion into thick rings.
  2. Toss rings in flour seasoned with salt, paprika, and cayenne.
  3. Whisk milk, eggs, and breadcrumbs into the remaining flour to create a batter.
  4. Dip rings in batter and fry for 3-4 mins until golden brown.
  5. Whisk the aïoli ingredients together and serve alongside the hot rings.
