  • Sauce: 4 tbsp butter 4 tbsp dark brown sugar, juice/zest of 1 orange, 4 tbsp dark rum
  • Base: 2 underripe bananas sliced, 1/2 cup pecans (toasted), 4 slices brioche
  • Serve: Vanilla ice cream

  • Matches (for flambé)

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Dry-fry pecans and toast the brioche slices.
  2. Melt butter, sugar, orange juice, and zest in a skillet until glossy.
  3. Add bananas and cook 2-3 mins.
  4. Add pecans and rum. Carefully light with a match to flambé the alcohol.
  5. Serve immediately over brioche with a scoop of ice cream.
