Main Ingredients
  • Base: 1 pound cake sliced, 6 ripe bananas
  • Pudding: 2 cups milk 4 tbsp cornstarch, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tbsp butter, vanilla
  • Topping: 2 cups heavy cream 2 tbsp sugar, vanilla

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Make pudding by simmering milk, sugar, and cornstarch until thick. Whisk in butter and vanilla. Chill.
  2. Slice pound cake and toast in the oven for 10 mins to add texture.
  3. In a glass dish, layer cake, sliced bananas, and pudding. Repeat.
  4. Whip the cream with sugar and vanilla until stiff.
  5. Spread over the top and chill for 1 hour to set.
