Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • Sauce: 3 garlic cloves 1 onion, 1 tsp each rosemary/oregano/thyme, 2 cans chopped tomatoes, 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • Meatballs: 1 lb ground turkey 1 cup breadcrumbs, 1 shallot, fresh basil, 1 egg
  • Serve: 1 lb spaghetti

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Large pot
  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Simmer sautéed aromatics, herbs, and tomatoes for 1 hour to create a rich sauce.
  2. Mix turkey, crumbs, shallot, basil, and egg. Form into 12 balls.
  3. Bake meatballs at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 35-40 mins until browned.
  4. Stir cooked meatballs into the sauce.
  5. Serve over hot spaghetti.
