Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • Veg: 1 green & 1 red pepper 1 onion, 1 jalapeño, 1 can corn
  • Beans: 1 can each: Red Kidney Black, Cannellini (all 14oz)
  • Base: 2 cans chopped tomatoes 1 lb ground beef, 3 garlic cloves
  • Spice: 1 tbsp chili powder 1 tbsp cumin, 1 tsp red pepper flakes

Equipment

  • Dutch oven or large pot
  • Skillet

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Combine peppers, onion, jalapeño, corn, and all beans (undrained) in a large pot.
  2. Brown the beef and garlic in a separate skillet, then add to the pot.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, and pepper flakes.
  4. Simmer on low heat (or bake) for 2 hours.
  5. Serve hot with cornbread, sour cream, and cheese.
