Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 pounds veal shoulder, cubed
  • Flour
  • 1/2 cup onion chopped fine
  • 1 large garlic clove, chopped
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup canned tomatoes
  • Rosemary, Sage, Parsley
  • 1/2 pound fresh white mushrooms, quartered

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Brown dredged veal. Remove. Sauté onion/garlic.
  2. Add wine, meat, tomatoes, aromatics (rosemary, sage, parsley, salt, pepper).
  3. Simmer covered 1 hour 15 mins.
  4. Separately sauté mushrooms in butter/oil until liquid evaporates.
  5. Add mushrooms to stew. Cook 30 mins more.
  6. Serve.
