Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • Beans: 3 cans 14oz Great Northern or Cannellini beans (undrained)
  • Meat: 10oz thick-cut smoked bacon chopped
  • Sauce: 1.5 cups molasses 1/4 cup cider vinegar, 2 tsp mustard powder, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Veg: 1 onion diced, 3 garlic cloves

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Fry chopped bacon in a heavy pot until fat renders. Remove bacon.
  2. Layer beans (with their liquid), onion, garlic, and cooked bacon in the pot.
  3. Whisk molasses, vinegar, and spices together; pour over the beans.
  4. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees F (160 degrees C) for 2.5 hours until thick and sticky.
  5. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
