Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pounds whole squid OR 1 1/2 pounds cleaned squid rings
  • 2 dozen live littleneck clams AND 1 dozen live mussels
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil (120 ml)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 1/2 cups canned imported Italian plum tomatoes, cut up
  • 1 pound unshelled raw shrimp
  • Salt & Black pepper/Chili pepper
  • 1 pound fresh sea scallops
  • Grilled bread

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Scrub clams and mussels.
  2. Make sauce: Sauté onion, add garlic, parsley, wine, then tomatoes. Simmer 10 mins.
  3. Add squid. Cover and simmer 45 mins until tender.
  4. Add clams and mussels. Increase heat to high.
  5. When shells open, add shrimp and scallops. Cook until done.
  6. Serve with grilled bread.
