This savory popcorn snack is tossed with crispy bacon, Parmesan cheese, and zesty ranch seasoning. Popping the kernels directly in bacon drippings gives every bite a deep, smoky richness that regular oil cannot match. It makes a fantastic addition to game day spreads, movie nights, or casual weekend gatherings. The combination of melted butter, salty cheese, and crunchy bacon creates an irresistible treat that disappears fast.

Ingredients
4 bacon slices
1 Tbsp. butter
⅓ cup popping corn
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
2 tsp. buttermilk ranch dressing mix
¼ tsp. freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
1Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes until crisp. Remove the bacon from the pan, save the drippings, and let the strips drain on paper towels before chopping them coarsely.
2Combine one tablespoon of butter with the reserved bacon drippings in a heavy four-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir in the popping corn, cover the pot, and cook while shaking occasionally. Continue until the popping slows to less than five pops every ten seconds.
3Take the saucepan off the heat and let it cool for one minute.
4Transfer the popped corn into a large brown paper bag. Add the chopped bacon, Parmesan cheese, melted butter, ranch dressing mix, and black pepper. Shake the bag vigorously to coat everything evenly, then serve right away.
