Ingredients

  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 250 grams minced chicken
  • 2 tablespoons coriander, chopped
  • 3 teaspoons chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 1 organic egg, large-sized
  • 3 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 fresh lettuces
  • 4 burger buns
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. 1Measure out the oil needed for frying and three tablespoons of salt.
  2. 2Heat a splash of oil in a large pan over moderate heat.
  3. 3Add the chopped onions to the hot oil and fry for one to two minutes until they turn golden brown.
  4. 4Place the minced chicken in a mixing bowl along with the chopped coriander, black pepper, chili flakes, fried onions, garlic, and salt.
  5. 5Crack the egg into the bowl and mix everything thoroughly with your hands.
  6. 6Stir the breadcrumbs into the chicken mixture.
  7. 7Shape the mixture into round patties with your hands and pan-fry them until they are golden brown on both sides.
  8. 8Spread mayonnaise on the burger buns, then layer with fresh lettuce and onion.
  9. 9Place the cooked chicken patties inside the prepared buns and serve immediately.
