  • Base: 1 day-old baguette sliced, 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Custard: 4 eggs 2 cups whole milk, 1/2 cup light brown sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Serve: Vanilla ice cream

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Arrange baguette slices in a baking dish, tucking chocolate chips between them.
  2. Whisk eggs, milk, brown sugar, and vanilla together.
  3. Pour the custard over the bread and let it soak for 15 mins.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 35 mins until the top is crisp.
  5. Serve warm with ice cream.
