2 cups Chocolate Chex
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
½ cup seedless strawberry jam
3 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. almond extract
2 cups ground almonds
1 cup white baking chips Sprinkles, optional
Instructions
1Mix the rice and chocolate cereals together in a large bowl. Melt the semisweet chocolate chips, strawberry jam, and butter in the microwave, stirring until completely smooth. Stir in the almond extract, then pour the wet mixture over the cereals and toss well. Add the ground almonds and toss again to coat evenly.
2Spread the coated cereal mixture out onto a sheet of waxed paper right away. Melt the white baking chips in the microwave and stir until smooth, then drizzle the melted white chocolate over the cereal. Add sprinkles on top if you like, and let the mixture sit undisturbed until the chocolate sets.
3Break the hardened snack mix into bite-sized clusters. Transfer the pieces to an airtight container for storage.
