Cauliflower florets dipped in a light batter of flour, water, egg, and Parmesan, then fried.

Main Ingredients
  • 1 head young cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup lukewarm water
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Vegetable oil

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Boil cauliflower. Cool. Separate florets and cut in half lengthwise.
  2. Make batter: Mix water and flour. Add Parmesan, salt, beaten egg.
  3. Heat oil.
  4. Dip florets in batter.
  5. Fry until golden brown.
  6. Drain, salt, and serve.
