Grab and Go Smoothie Poppers

These bite-sized frozen smoothie treats are a fun and refreshing snack. They blend banana, yogurt, sweet strawberries, and orange juice into a smooth puree. You simply pour the mixture into ice cube trays and freeze until solid. Keep a batch in the freezer for a fast, fruity bite whenever you need a quick cool down.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium banana
  • 3 tubes (2.25 oz each) portable yogurt, any flavor (from 1-lb 2-oz box)
  • 1 cup frozen unsweetened whole strawberries
  • ½ cup orange juice

Instructions

  1. 1Place the banana, yogurt, frozen strawberries, and orange juice in a blender. Secure the lid and blend on high speed for about 30 seconds until completely smooth.
  2. 2Pour roughly one tablespoon of the blended mixture into each section of your ice cube trays or shaped silicone molds. Transfer the trays to the freezer and chill for at least two hours until the mixture is completely firm.
  3. 3Pop the frozen smoothie pieces out of the trays or molds. Transfer them to a resealable plastic freezer bag and keep them frozen until you are ready to eat.
  4. 4Select fun shaped ice cube trays or molds to create appealing bite-sized treats.
  5. 5Set the ice cube trays on a larger flat tray so you can easily move them in and out of the freezer.
