- Put oil, lamb, garlic, herbs in pan. Heat and brown (15 mins).
- Add wine, evaporate briefly.
- Cover and simmer 1.5 hours.
- Add pepper strips and ham.
- Cook 10-15 mins more until pepper is soft.
- Serve.
