- Soak bread in milk, mash to pulp. Cool.
- Mix beef, panade, onion, parsley, egg, parmesan, nutmeg, salt, pepper.
- Shape into 1-inch balls. Roll in bread crumbs.
- Brown in oil. Drain excess fat.
- Add tomatoes. Cover and simmer 20-25 mins.
- Serve.
