Sautéed Broccoli with Olive Oil and Garlic

Broccoli blanched and then sautéed in olive oil and garlic. The classic Italian way to serve broccoli.

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 bunch fresh broccoli (1-1.5 lbs)
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic chopped very fine
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Salt

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Trim broccoli, peel stalks, wash.
  2. Boil in salted water for ~5 mins until pierceable. Drain.
  3. Sauté garlic in oil until pale gold.
  4. Add broccoli, salt, parsley.
  5. Toss/sauté for 2 minutes.
  6. Serve.
