11 oz almonds (blanched)
1 cup + 3 tbsp sugar
4 egg whites
Salt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Method
Instructions
Pulverize almonds with sugar.
Whip egg whites to stiff peaks.
Fold whites into almond/sugar mix with vanilla.
Scoop irregular mounds onto buttered baking sheet.
Bake at 300°F for 30 minutes.
Cool on rack.
