  • Roux: 3.5 tbsp butter 1/2 cup flour
  • Sauce: 2 cups whole milk 1.33 cups grated sharp cheddar
  • Topping: 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Boil macaroni until al dente; drain.
  2. Make a roux by cooking butter and flour, then whisking in milk until thickened.
  3. Stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. Combine sauce and pasta, then transfer to a baking dish.
  5. Top with Parmesan and broil for 5 mins until bubbling and golden.
