Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • Sandwich: 2 loaves French bread 8 lettuce leaves, 1 tomato (sliced)
  • Shrimp: 48 large shrimp 1 egg, 1 cup flour, 1 cup panko breadcrumbs, cayenne, paprika
  • Remoulade: 1 cup mayonnaise 1/4 cup mustard, juice of 1/2 lemon, 2 tbsp vinegar, 1 tbsp horseradish, 1 tsp paprika

  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a deep pan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Whisk the egg in one bowl. Mix flour, panko, and spices in another.
  3. Dip shrimp in egg, then coat thoroughly in the flour mixture.
  4. Fry in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crisp. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Whisk all remoulade ingredients together. Assemble sandwiches with lettuce, tomato, shrimp, and plenty of sauce.
