- Sauté onion in oil until pale gold. Add garlic, then parsley and squid. Coat well.
- Add wine, let evaporate slightly. Add tomatoes. Cover and simmer 1 hour until squid is tender.
- Place fish steaks over the squid in a single layer. Sprinkle with salt.
- Cover and cook 3 minutes. Turn steaks and cook 2 minutes more.
- Serve fish steaks with squid sauce.
