Instructions
- Make pastry by rubbing fats into flour and binding with water. Chill.
- Roll out 2/3 of the dough to line the pie dish.
- Mix pitted cherries, sugar, flour, and almond extract. Fill the pie shell.
- Cut remaining dough into strips and weave a lattice over the top.
- Brush with egg glaze and bake at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 20-25 mins.
