Main Ingredients
  • Fruit: 4 pears approx 14oz/400g, peeled and cored
  • Liquid: 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar 1/2 cup water
  • Flavor: 1/2 cup light brown sugar 1/2 tbsp ground cardamom, pinch salt

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
  2. Simmer uncovered for 1 hour until pears are very tender and liquid reduces.
  3. Cool completely.
  4. Puree until silky smooth.
  5. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
