- Cream butter/sugar, add eggs and coloring.
- Add flour/cocoa and buttermilk alternately.
- Mix vinegar and soda (it will fizz) and fold quickly into batter.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 22-25 mins. Cool.
- Whip frosting and pipe onto cupcakes.
