1 1/2 pounds chicken livers
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons onion, chopped fine
1 dozen fresh sage leaves
1/3 cup dry white wine
Method
Instructions
Clean livers carefully.
Sauté onion in butter until gold.
Add sage and livers. Cook until color changes.
Remove livers.
Add wine to pan. Deglaze and reduce.
Return livers briefly to coat and heat through.
Serve.
