- Trim, soak, and boil green beans until firm-tender. Drain.
- Peel carrots and cut into sticks slightly thinner than beans.
- Put beans, carrots, diced meat, butter, and salt in a sauté pan.
- Cook over medium heat, turning frequently.
- When butter foams, cover pan.
- Cook until carrots are just tender (check after 5-6 mins).
