This coleslaw is light on the mayo but heavy on flavor. A dressing made with brown mustard, cider vinegar, and a pinch of red pepper flakes makes it the perfect zesty side dish for rich BBQ meats.

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • Dressing: 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp mustard powder, 1 tbsp brown mustard, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Veg: 1/2 green cabbage shredded, 1 red onion (sliced), 4 small carrots (grated), 3 celery stalks (sliced)

  • Whisk
  • Grater

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Whisk all dressing ingredients in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Shred the cabbage, grate the carrots, and thinly slice the onion and celery.
  3. Add the vegetables to the bowl with the dressing.
  4. Toss thoroughly until everything is evenly coated.
  5. Chill for 20 mins before serving to let the flavors meld.
