These homemade tots are sweet, salty, and crispy all at once. Made from grated sweet potato and Parmesan, they are deep-fried to golden perfection and served with a tangy honey mustard dip.

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • Tots: 4 large sweet potatoes 2/3 cup Parmesan, 1/4 cup flour, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp cayenne
  • Dip: 1/4 cup Dijon mustard 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup honey
  • Fry: Oil for deep frying

  • Grater
  • Bowl

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Boil sweet potatoes for 10-15 mins (they should still be firm). Cool and peel.
  2. Grate the potatoes and mix with cheese, flour, and spices.
  3. Form the mixture into small cylinders or balls.
  4. Deep fry at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 2-3 mins until brown.
  5. Mix the dip ingredients and serve immediately.
