1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 pounds veal shoulder, cubed
Flour
2 tablespoons chopped onion
1 cup canned plum tomatoes, chopped
2 pounds fresh peas (or 10oz frozen)
Method
Instructions
Brown dredged veal in butter/oil. Remove.
Sauté onion. Return meat.
Add tomatoes. Cover and simmer 50 mins.
Add peas to pot.
Simmer 1 to 1.5 hours more until veal is tender.
Serve.
